In the words of Amare Stoudemire, "The Knicks are back...the city is on fire."
New York is a basketball town. Back in the early '90's, nothing rocked like Madison Square Garden. The Knicks were the hottest ticket in town. Ewing, Starks, Oakley, Mason...it was our team! It has been a long-time coming for Knicks fans to have a team that they are truly excited about. Enter: Amare Stoudemire. This is your town now homeboy. The Mecca of basketball will be electric for the first time in years because of his passion and intensity. Dude can hammer one down on anyone; he is the best finisher in the league. And the guy has some serious style and swagger! New York is going to love Amare.
I call upon the Knicks faithful to break out your old-school Nobody Beats the Wiz playoff towels and let's get it cracking to a series of videos and images that will get you humming in your head "GO NY GO NY GO"...
