Rachel Zoe is arguably the biggest celebrity stylist in the world, so who could blame her for having one of the most stylish men on the planet by her side at all times?
Brad Goreski is recognized as hilarious and outgoing from Bravo's, hit TV series, The Rachel Zoe Project. But make no mistake about it, Brad has some serious swagger of his own. Especially when it comes to dressing himself! There are few people that can rock neckwear and eyewear like Brad. When it comes to step and repeats, Brad takes advice from his colleague, Rachel and completely "shuts it down!"
Grungy Gentleman sits down with style icon, Brad Goreski…
Grungy Gentleman: I know it is hard to put into words. But how would you describe your style?
Brad Goreski: I would describe my style as preppy-gentleman, with a touch of sportiness, and a dash of European flair.
GG: How did you get into the fashion industry?
BG: I interned at Vogue and W Magazine when I went back to college and knew that it was exactly what I wanted to do and where I wanted to be.
GG: What is one piece that every man should have in his wardrobe?
BG: Every guy should have a great fitting suit in his wardrobe. Too many guys buy their suits too big and boxy. Not cute! A great suit for a man is what the little black dress is to a woman.
GG: For the guys out there who are looking to upgrade their look, can you give them a tip on how to enhance their style?
BG: You don't need a whole new wardrobe to update your look. It can be as simple as incorporating a new color into your wardrobe or trying a new silhouette. If you are used to wearing a skinny jean, try something a little looser or a baggy jean. For so long my look was very buttoned up and now I am wearing a more relaxed, sporty look. I recently became obsessed with paint-splattered clothes.
GG: What is your favorite eyewear line?
BG: I love Oliver Peoples! I also am loving Dsquared eyewear at the moment.

GG: Your bowtie collection is absolutely amazing. I notice that a majority of them are Lanvin. What are the key ingredients to a perfect bowtie?
BG: Wear them in all different shapes and sizes. They are meant to be fun, so try an array of colors and patterns. Bowties can be great conversation pieces. And don't be ashamed to wear a clip on.
GG: Are there any new lines/collections that you are really taking a liking to?
BG: I don’t think any of these lines are particularly new, but I love Elizabeth and James, The Row, and Michael Bastian.

GG: Let's cause some controversy...NY or LA?
BG: I love LA...but I just spent three weeks in NY and it's soooo amazing and inspiring!!!
GG: What can we expect next from Brad Goreski?
BG: That's a great question…The next big thing is season 3 of The Rachel Zoe Project which is pretty major! And I co-designed two toothbrushes with REACH, which will be in stores soon.
