DJ Chachi has been around the block and then some. His name not ringing a bell? Check your ipod. Yeah that's right, you've been rocking out to his mixes for years. Some call him a "party dj", "mixtape king", or "the chemist." Truth is, it really doesn't matter. All that matters is that DJ Chachi sticks to doing what he does best; spinning at hot clubs and never letting our ipod's grow dry.
Grungy Gentleman: How would you describe your style?
DJ Chachi: Trendy / Preppy / NYC
GG: When you are deejaying, do you prefer to dress causal or formal? What factors go into that decision?
DJ Chachi: I either go for the cooler, I didn't really work hard on this outfit look or the all out tie/vest, GQ-esque kinda vibe. My mood and the venue always has something to do with it.
GG: Has anybody influenced your fashion intelligence as a person and/or artist?
DJ Chachi: I really get most of my influence from the clubs I work at and go to. NYC has some great style!
GG: What clubs that you spin, seem to have the best dressed crowds?
DJ Chachi: SL has by far the best-dressed crowd.
GG: Where are your favorite spots to dj?
DJ Chachi: SL in NYC and LIV down in Miami.

GG: Where did the name DJ Chachi come from?
DJ Chachi: A former boss thought I looked like Scott Baio. It just kinda stuck.
GG: Where did the inspiration come from, for your latest mixtape "Love At First Beat"? (featured on Grungy Gentleman below)
DJ Chachi: The influx of so much great dance music that is out right now. I feel as if a lot of my fans aren’t aware of it and I’m always looking to bring great music to the light.
GG: What can we expect next from DJ Chachi?
DJ Chachi: I really think the future for me will be more dance-music based, well ... that's besides world domination.
